Hello all.

It's updating time!

• I made it to the Foreign Service Oral Assessment.  *proceeds to tear hair out*  Anywho, I'll be off to DC again on April 24, got my exam on the 25, then I'm staying about another week so I can schedule interviews w/ other places.

I just finished sending an e-mail to the ACT testing service b/c it's been more than 12 weeks since I took the Foreign Service exam and still no results. I'd kind of expected a delay, b/c hey, it's the government, but then I realised the test is administered by a private company. So wtf is the hold-up?

( I hate life right now, actually. )

Time for a real update.

Actually, I dunno. I was all ready to go and now I think I lost the juice.

Well we're going anyway.

Since graduation I have:

• taken a language test in Hindi over the phone for the Foreign Service, which left me feeling like a complete failure so we'll just forget about that

Tuesdays have to be the bane of my existence. I have ballroom from 11 to 12, and then eight hours to kill 'til a meeting at 8 pm. zomg. Generally I try to put that time to good use reading or whatnot, but since I now have Starbucks internets access and a Starbucks gift card (hooray late birthday gifts! =), I like to come sit here for a few ( Read more... )
